We collect information you provide directly (name, email, billing information) and information generated by your use of the Service (generation history, usage analytics, log data).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, send transactional emails, process payments via Digistore24, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Instagram Data
If you connect an Instagram account, we store your access token encrypted at rest. We use this only to publish posts on your behalf. Tokens are automatically refreshed and revoked upon disconnection.
4. AI Processing
Your content generation inputs are processed by third-party AI providers (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini). These providers may process data under their own privacy policies. We do not share your account data with AI providers beyond what is necessary for generation.
5. Data Storage and Retention
Generated images are stored for 90 days then automatically deleted. You will receive a warning email 7 days before deletion. Account data is retained until account deletion. Log data is retained for 12 months.

We use essential cookies for authentication and optional analytics cookies with your consent. You can manage cookie preferences via the consent banner.
7. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data. Submit requests via your account settings or by contacting us at support@instabuddy.ai. We respond within 30 days.

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest), regular security audits, and access controls to protect your data.
